What is a Measured Survey?
A measured survey is a survey undertaken by a land surveyor to determine the dimensions and features of your property.
Basically… it produces the Existing plans of your property for planning and building regulation drawing submission.
You can get a measured survey for land, building, and utility.
Each produces different elements of your property.
Why the split in terminology? This is because each element (internal or external) requires different features to be measured at different scales.
However, you shouldn’t be worried because at the end of the day you will be getting existing plans of your property – let us take care of that.
You can skip the terminology below and go straight to what is included in the measured survey.
The most common terminology…
For the land, garden, external of your property:
- Topographical Survey
- Land Survey
- Site Measured Survey
- Measured Land Survey
For the internal of your property (including floor plans, sections, etc…)
- Measured building survey
- Floor plan survey
- Measured survey of homes, flats, offices, etc….
